Supporting Our Troops |
![]() Toward the end of my son's two-year enlistment in the Army, he was accepted to the United States Military Academy at West Point where he graduated in May 2005 as the Vice President of his class. Since his graduation, he has served a 15-month deployment to Iraq and 7-month deployment to Afghanistan as an Infantry Officer. In May 2014, he earned a Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. He is now serving at West Point Military Academy as a TAC Officer. He is the bravest and most determined person that I know. I truly could not be prouder. Working as a Louisville Realtor through his deployments has been tough. Thankfully he is now on American soil and I am fully focused on my Louisville real estate business. |
My brother is a retired Lt. Col. from the Active (or AGR) Army Reserve. He dedicated over 20 years serving our country as an Officer. He is also a husband and father.

Although these men are very special to me, they are only two of our finest that provide support and safety for our country. |
Vail Veterans Program - The mission of the Vail Veterans Program is to provide recent United States amputee veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts the opportunity to learn to ski or snow board. While focusing on their abilities, not their disabilities, the program offers these young men and women a positive transition to living with their new disability. |
The Wounded Warrior Project enables us to help thousands of injured warriors returning home from the current conflicts and to provide assistance to their families. As the number of wounded steadily increases, it is easy to see how the needs of these brave individuals also increase. |
Defend America - U.S. Department of Defense. |
United Service Organizations - The USO mission is to provide morale, welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military Personnel. |
American Red Cross - Here you will find information on needed donations, how to volunteer and news stories on current Red Cross participation worldwide. |
My son's deployment to Afghanistan was a tough one. He lost two wonderful, young men. As a Christmas gift to my son that year, I donated to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of these two men. There is no gift my son would have preferred. |
